I am a sophomore at Montclair State University (NJ), studying English to become an elementary school teacher (K-6) with a certification in teaching students with disabilities. I am also working to attain a minor in civic leadership. My current GPA is a 3.45.
Experience
I have tutored a first grader as he was in the process of being diagnosed with ADHD. I have volunteered my time tutoring second graders in literacy and high school students who are applying to colleges. I currently work in a pre-school assisting in daily routines and activities. I am interested in tutoring as I want to become an educator. I have experience as a nanny, but I would like to expand on my experience with helping children academically.
